Marilyn Monroe

Well...here it is again, my second upload, and this time its Marilyn Monroe, its kinda link between my first upload Elvis Presley, i did this Monroe painting 2 years ago as well, it was my college assignment, and on that day i have 24 hours to finish everything, on that day itself i have nothing, no reference no idea and dont know what medium to use, after few hours wasted browsing trough my folders, suddenly a beautiful reference of Monroe appears infront of my face, so without wasting more time, i started to get eveything that i need, first, i dont have time for compositing anymore, now ive made up my mind to use airbrush and color pastel, on that day itself i do the outline, airbrushed and pastel it, and here it is after an 8 hours rushed work i got this done.

Well... i've always thought why Monroe died and i suppose every fans of her did, personally for me, she thought she was just another dumb blonde that just act to entertain. She doesnt even know what she's doing, behind her full pillow lips and her sweets smile, she's suffering inside (which is why i choose the blood red as a symbolic color on the background) and we didnt took the effort to find out why...thats why god took her away, she was a precious gift from god that has been sent to grace the world.
